Hubbard Radio Seattle Names Alex Brewster as Chief Engineer

Hubbard Radio/Seattle appoints Alex Brewster as the cluster's new Chief of Engineering, starting April 15. His previous stints include Assistant Chief Engineer for Entercom/Seattle and Portland, OR, where he provided technical support that included each cluster's five class C FM stations and their associated HD channels and two directional AM stations, respectively. Before that, Brewster provided technical support for CBS Seattle stations. He was also in the tower construction business, installing and repairing FM and AM antennas as a tower rigger.
Hubbard Radio Seattle's interim Market Manager Scott Mahalick said, "It's wonderful to have a world class engineering leader join Hubbard Seattle and help make our engineering department shine."
"I am excited for the opportunities this positions brings. I am looking forward to using my knowledge and skills to enhance and expand the technological capabilities of Hubbard Seattle," added Brewster.
Alex is also a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and is an SBE Certified Broadcast Radio Engineer, Certified Broadcast Network Technologist and was selected as the Seattle Chapter 16 Engineer of the Year in 2019.
