Eric "EJ" Johnson Named PD of WJBR-FM/Wilmington, DE

Beasley Media Group has named Eric "EJ" Johnson as Program Director at WJBR-FM in Wilmington, Delaware, effective July 1. Johnson most recently served as program director at Beasley's 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia. Prior to that he spent 19 years working as the Brand Manager and Program Director at New Jersey 101.5 FM, as the Assistant Program Director at WIP and the Program Director at Y-100 in Philadelphia.

In his new role, Johnson will be in charge of content for WJBR-FM's on air and digital platforms as well as hosting the afternoon drive show on the station.

"WJBR has been a market leader in Wilmington for decades and with EJ at the helm, we're confident that the station will continue that tradition," said Beasley Media Group Philadelphia Vice President and Market Manager Joe Bell.

"EJ's many years of multi-format experience in the Delaware Valley makes him the perfect fit for a heritage station like WJBR," said Beasley Media Group Chief Content Officer Justin Chase. "We are very pleased to have him back at Beasley."
