Bonneville/San Francisco Names Val Maki as Market Manager

Bonneville/San Francisco appoints Val Maki as Senior Vice President and Market Manager overseeing KOIT-FM, KMVQ-FM, KBLX-FM and KUFX-FM. Previously, Maki served as Senior VP/Market Manager for Emmis/Los Angeles and as Radio Division VP. Most recently Maki was VP/Strategic Partnerships with Sound That Brands, a brand podcast company. She's also held various executive roles with Emmis in New York, Chicago, Boston, St. Louis, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Austin.

"Val is a dynamic and innovative leader who knows how to grow business and strengthen brands," said Bonneville International President Darrell Brown. "I believe her experience and track record will position our stations for long-term success in the Bay Area."

Maki replaces Bonneville's former San Francisco Market Manager Carl Gardner who recently retired after 43 years in the broadcast industry.
