40-year Ohio Talker Mike Scinto Has Passed

Forty-year talk radio host Mike Scinto has passed away. The news comes from Salem Radio Networks host Mike Gallagher who reported the news Thursday on his morning broadcast. Specific details were not made available.
Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Scinto hosted shows at WHIO-AM, WDAO-AM, WAVI-AM, WBLY-AM, and WING-AM, as well as WCOL-AM/Columbus after kicking off his career at Wright State University's WWSU in Fairborn in 1976. He was a frequent guest on Gallaher's show.
Gallagher paid tribute to Scinto extending sympathy and prayers to Scinto's wife Kathy and their children Zak and Carly... stating "We will miss him. He was one of a kind."
