Hartford's Hot 93.7 Celebrates 20 Years

Entercom is proud to celebrate 20 years of WZMX-FM Hot 93.7, Hartford's No. 1 for hip hop and R&B. On March 16, the station will kick off its yearlong 20th anniversary celebration with special programming including artist interviews and stories and memories from listeners and personalities, who will highlight the station's top moments from the past 20 years.
"Twenty years after flipping its format from dancin' oldies to rhythmic CHR, Hot 93.7 leads the market and is one the most impactful radio stations in Hartford," said Stephanie Perl, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Hartford. "We are proud how our station has connected with our audience and impacted our community and are excited to celebrate this special milestone with them."

Hot 93.7 launched on March 16, 2001 when it flipped to hip hop and R&B, spotlighting artists like as Joe, Blu Cantrell, Outkast, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Fabolous, Ja Rule, Foxy Brown and more. Over the years, the station has continued to be Hartford's home for hits from current top artists in the format, including Drake, Kanye West, Cardi B, John Legend, Travis Scott, Chris Brown and more, as well as specialty programming like "Reggae Riddimz," "Late Night Love," "International Show" and "Voices."
