Entercom raised funds to provide over 650,000 meals for people in need through the "Giant Eagle Feed the Need Radiothon." The radiothon directly benefits Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and those dealing with food insecurity in the Pittsburgh region.

"This is a great example of Pittsburghers taking care of each other and using the power of radio to spread the message of the need in our region," said Entercom Pittsburgh Senior VP and Market Manager Michael Spacciapolli. "Helping the community is part of the fabric of what we do. On behalf of our amazing team at Entercom Pittsburgh, I want to once again thank our listeners for stepping up to help our neighbors in need."

"For the second consecutive year, Feed the Need has been an incredible success," added Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank President/CEO Lisa Scales. "Southwestern Pennsylvania showed once again the strength of our community when it unites in a time of need. Thank you to Entercom, Giant Eagle and everyone who supported radiothon."

"We want to thank everyone who contributed to this year's radiothon to support our neighbors in need," said Giant Eagle spokesperson Jannah Jablonowski. "As we've seen countless times throughout the past year, the Pittsburgh community has very generously stepped up to support the vital work of Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank."

"Giant Eagle Feed the Need Radiothon" was broadcast live on KDKA (News Radio 100.1 FM), KDKA-AM, KDKA-FM (93.7 The Fan), WBZZ-FM (100.7 Star) and WDSY-FM (Y108) on March 16 from 5am-6pm ET.
