WGFX, A to Z Sports Ink Content Partnership Agreement

Cumulus Media's Sports/Talk WGFX-FM (104.5 The Zone)/Nashville has entered into a content partnership agreement with online sports information and entertainment destination A to Z Sports. The agreement allows the two sports entertainment brands to create and share sports content across their respective digital platforms, including streaming and on-demand content, podcasts, social media and more, plus live and local on-air programming on 104.5 The Zone.

The content partnership will marry the talent, technology, resources and reach of the sports news and entertainment brands to create new and expanded sports programming. Per the terms of the agreement, 104.5 The Zone, the flagship home for the Tennessee Titans and Nashville affiliate for University of Tennessee Volunteers, will regularly feature A to Z Sports personalities, while 104.5 The Zone personalities will appear regularly on A to Z Sports' programs.

Cumulus/Nashville Vice President/Market Manager Allison Warren said, "As the predominant sports leader in Middle Tennessee, 104.5 The Zone's partnership with A to Z Sports reflects our continued efforts to delivering cutting edge sports content to our audience. We are looking forward to working with Zach Bingham, Austin Stanley and the entire A to Z team."

A to Z Sports Co-Owner and Host Zach Bingham commented, "We look forward to our partnership with Cumulus Media. Together we will bring creative ideas and fresh local content to sports fans in this market!"

A to Z Sports co-Owner and Host Austin Stanley remarked, "It's a great opportunity for A to Z Sports and our audiences as we start a strategic partnership with one of the strongest sports talk brands in Middle Tennessee."

104.5 The Zone Program Director Paul Mason added, "We are truly excited to partner with A to Z Sports! This opens up more doors for both WGFX and A to Z to be more creative and implement new ideas in the market. The true winner in this partnership is the Nashville sports fan."

Earlier this month, 104.5 The Zone announced that it signed sports journalist Buck Reising as its midday host. Reising is heard weekdays from 10am-1pm. He had previously been a frequent guest host on WGFX, but is mostly known for his popular "615 Sessions" podcast and live weeknight show "A to Z Sports Primetime."
