iHeartMedia Indianapolis has announced community partnerships with eight local nonprofit organizations that address one or more of the following needs in the Indianapolis community: physical, emotional, academic and spiritual health. Beginning January 5, iHM will support the mission of these organizations through the stations including on-air, on station websites and on social media.

iHeartMedia Indianapolis will create in-kind media campaigns for the following nonprofit organizations: AccessAbility; Cancer Support; Kids' Voice of Indiana; Madam Walker Legacy Center; Pack Away Hunger; Renew Indianapolis; TechPoint Foundation for Youth; and VIPS Indianapolis. The last set of media campaigns will end in December.

Each community partner will be promoted during a three-month marketing campaign based on their specific needs, including seeking volunteers, raising awareness and promoting events. The iHeartMedia Indianapolis Local Advisory Board (LAB), comprised of over 12 community leaders, selected the recipients through an extensive application process. Additionally, the LAB identified the following key needs of the Indianapolis community - to promote physical, emotional, academic and spiritual wellness.

"The historic Madam Walker Legacy Center (MWLC) is so appreciative of this tremendous in-kind promotional grant from iHeartMedia Indianapolis," said MWLC President Kristian Stricklen. "As we celebrate 95 years of Black Excellence in 2022, we look forward to working with them to spread the word about our culturally diverse signature programs and events including our MLK Day of Celebration 40th Anniversary, our new InspiHER campaign and our Official Grand Reopening that's set for the weekend of Juneteenth."

"We are excited to announce our new community partners and share the work they do to help strengthen the Indianapolis community," added iHeartMedia Indianapolis Market President Kristy Beebe. "Collectively, we will continue to share our commitments towards uplifting and investing in our communities by utilizing our community partnership program to share the resources and services these organizations provide."
