TargetSpot, an Internet radio advertising company, has announced partnerships with ten new networks, including Bonneville International's stations in Los Angeles and St Louis, Saga Communications, Mapleton Communications, Reach Media, 977 Music, Wilks Broadcast Group, Rose City Radio, Radio Hanover, Finetune and AMS Interactive.
The ten new additions include national talk radio networks and stations in regions throughout the country. These new stations join the nation's largest collection of Internet radio, as a recent survey found that TargetSpot is 40% larger than its nearest competitor. TargetSpot represents more than 1000 stations, on more than 50 radio groups and web properties.
"As one of the first stations to stream online, starting with KPIG back in 1995, we have long recognized the online opportunity. We just needed the right partner to help us tap into it," said Mapleton Presdent/CEO Adam Nathanson."We're excited to be working with TargetSpot, not only because they understand what this opportunity means to online properties, but also because they have the sales expertise and technology platform that is best equipped to meet the needs of advertisers and broadcasters."
"We were looking for a solution that would increase the value of our inventory from day one," said Bonneville Director of New Media Tricia Etienne. "With its easily implemented technology and great roster of advertisers, TargetSpot gives us that running start we wanted."
"We are glad to continue to expand our network and offer stations the best possible platform to monetize their internet radio stream," said TargetSpot CEO Doug Perlson. "By now, radio stations are well aware of the value of their internet radio inventory, and are happy to find a great solution. This latest collection of stations shows the breadth of our network, from one of the top shows in the country to regional powerhouses to online-only players."
