Entravision Q1 Net Revenue Up 3%, Radio Unit Flat

Entravision posted a 3% gain in net revenue to $43 million from $41.7 million in 2009. The company's radio unit was flat at $13.4 million and operating income (OI) was $4.7 million. The Spanish-language broadcaster reported a net loss of $2.18 million (3 cents per share) up 85% from a loss of $14.4 million (17 cents) in 2009.
Chairman/CEO Walter F. Ulloa said, "During the first quarter we saw signs of a stabilizing advertising environment in many of our television and radio markets. Our audience shares remain strong in the nation's most densely populated Hispanic markets, and we believe that our U.S. Hispanic audience will continue to grow."
