Communicom Stations Sell for $2.15 Million

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado has appointed Robert J. Maccini and Media Services Group as the Chief Transition Officer of Communicom Broadcasting LLC. On May 30, Media Services Group conducted an auction of the four Communicom stations, including WDRJ-AM/Detroit, WLNO-AM/New Orleans, KXXT-AM/Phoenix and KXEG-AM/Phoenix.
Four different buyers emerged for the stations and the Court has approved the motion to sell the stations for a collective price of $2.15 million. FCC license transfer applications are in the process of being filed.
