WideOrbit Inc., a provider of ad management software for media companies, inks Univision Communications for its media management solutions to manage advertising and digital audio streaming operations across all of its properties. Univision will implement WO Network, an integrated end-to-end WideOrbit solution on its national broadcast and cable networks and across its radio and TV station groups.
Univision's radio stations will utilize the Digital Orders component of WO Traffic to manage digital ad transactions along with WO Streaming to manage and monetize digital audio streams. Automated workflow between the systems captures digital delivery and performance data for consolidated invoicing and reporting within WO Traffic.
"We're honored that the largest media company serving Hispanic America has standardized its ad operations on WideOrbit," said WideOrbit CEO Eric R. Mathewson. "Univision is one of the largest media companies to take full advantage of the extensive capabilities our platform offers for multiproperty, multichannel, multimedia companies with a strong digital presence. It's a powerful example of how WideOrbit is uniquely able to simultaneously support all of the distinct operational needs of national networks and local and digital broadcasters."
"WideOrbit's technology is crucial for helping us manage a complex media business that spans multiple platforms," added Univision Senior VP/Commercial Excellence and Operations Eric R. Mathewson. "WideOrbit allows us to manage our business profitably and efficiently because of its unique ability to unite advertising operations for national broadcast and cable networks, local radio and TV station groups onto a single comprehensive solution."
