Krol to Purchase WHMI-FM/Detroit for $3.5 Million

Krol Communications has agreed to purchase 5.2kW Classic Hits WHMI-FM (93.5)/Detroit (licensed to Howell, MI) from Livingston Radio for $3.5 million in cash at closing. WHMI is situated to the Northwest of the market, between Lansing and Detroit. It is the only station centered and focused on serving the community of Livingston County.
Livingston Radio is headed by owners Greg and Marcia Jablonski, while the buyer Krol Communications Inc., is headed by President Rodney Krol.
Jason James of Patrick Communications was the exclusive broker.
