Saga Communications Q4 Net Revenue Up 4.7%


Saga Communications reported fourth quarter net revenue increased 4.7% to $37.3 million from $35.6 million in 2015. Operating income (OI) gained 33% to $8.4 million from $6.3 million while station operating expense grew 0.4% to $26 million. Same station net revenue climbed 2.9% to $36.1 million and same station operating expense was flat at $25.4 million. The company reported a Q4 net income of $4.9 million (84 cents per diluted share) as compared to $3.6 million (63 cents) in the year-ago period.
