RAFAMEDIA to Broker Radio Vermont Divestiture

Radio Vermont Inc., owner of the largest base of radio outlets in Vermont has selected RAFAMEDIA to broker the sale of its five radio stations and translators, serving Waterbury, Montpelier, Morrisville, Stowe and Rutland in VT. Radio Vermont, formed in 1931, has decided to divest the properties after 86 years of continuous ownership.
Included in the divestiture are 5kW WDEV-AM (550) Waterbury, 25kW WDEV-FM (96.1) Warren, 5.4kW WLVB-FM (92.9) Morrisville, 50kW WCVT-FM (101.7) Stowe-Burlington and 3kW WEXP-FM (101.5) Brandon-Rutland.
RAFAMEDIA President Dick Foreman commented, "We are so very proud to serve Ken Squier and his family in the sale of the stations. We look forward to bringing the stations to the next ownership phase of this historic broadcasting company."
