Starlite Broadcasting Closes on Corpus Christi Duo for $600K

Starlite Broadcasting has closed on its previously announced acquisition of 100kW Hot AC KLTG-FM (96.5) and 26kW Country KHLB-FM (102.5) serving Corpus Christi, TX, from Tejas Broadcasting for $600,000. These two stations are the final radio properties sold by Tejas, having already sold KMJR-FM in Corpus Christi, as well as five AM and FM outlets in Clovis, NM and Amarillo, TX. The buyer has no other broadcast interests.
Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and George Reed of the Jacksonville office of Media Services Group brokered the deal representing the seller.
