Rob Dibble Show Joins 97-9 ESPN/Hartford


Clear Channel Sports WUCS-FM (97.9 ESPN) Hartford and WAVZ-AM (ESPN 1300) New Haven, CT, tap "The Rob Dibble Show" with Paul Nanos to fill its vacant afternoon post from 3-7pm, effective immediately. They replace Mike Bower. Most recently Dibble hosted a show on FOX Sports Radio in Los Angeles. From 2009-2011. he was a color analyst on MASN for The Washington Nationals and from 2007-2011 he hosted weekend shows on FOX Sports Radio.

Dibble was born and raised in Connecticut and is the son of Walt Dibble, Connecticut Journalism Hall of Famer and 50-year veteran newsman. He was a first round pick of the Cincinnati Reds in 1983 and later became a two-time MLB All-Star with The Reds. Dibble was also a member of The 1990 World Series Champion Reds team. He retired as a player after 1996.

"After years of being in the broadcast industry and working around the country it was always my dream to follow in my father's footsteps and broadcast out of the great state where I was born," said Dibble.
