Mark Levin Moves to KRLA in Los Angeles

Salem announces the addition of syndicated Mark Levin to its weekday lineup, live from 3-6pm beginning Tuesday, February 3 on KRLA-AM (AM 870 The Answer) in Los Angeles. Hugh Hewitt who airs in that slot will move to 6-9pm. The station's lineup includes "The Morning Answer with Brian Whitman, Ben Shapiro and Elisha Krauss" from 6-9am, Dennis Prager from 9am-12pm, Michael Medved from 12-3pm, followed by Levin, Hewitt and Mike Gallagher 9-midnight.
"Rarely do you have the chance to add somebody of Mark's quality in market #2, and we decided it was an opportunity we could not pass up," said Salem Senior VP/Spoken Word Format Phil Boyce. "Hugh Hewitt is also a class act so running these two back to back makes this lineup even stronger."
KRLA Director of Programming Chuck Tyler added, "Getting Mark Levin has been on my bucket list for years. What a team."
Mark Levin added, "It's an honor to join the wonderful lineup at KRLA. I know my great listeners, who include two of my biggest fans in the LA area (my kids, who live and work there) will appreciate hearing the show live, too." Paul Zeise Named KDKA/Pittsburg Evening Host PaulZeise.gif CBS Radio/Pittsburgh elevates Paul Zeise to evenings on KDKA-FM (Sportsradio 93.7 The Fan) from 6-10pm, effective February 3. Zeise, who also works as a sports writer at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has been working as a parttime host on the station since 2011.
"Paul has truly developed as a personality and we're happy we could make him a larger member of our on-air team," said 93-7 The Fan PD Ryan Maguire. "Paul has strong ties within the local sports community and will provide unique insight and hard-hitting opinions that will resonate with our listeners."
Zeise has covered a variety of beats for the Post-Gazette over the years, including Pitt Football and Basketball as well as Pirates Baseball. He's a frequent contributor on KDKA-TV's "Sports Showdown" as well as the "Nightly Sports Call" on Pittsburgh's CW.
"This is an exciting time for me and an incredible opportunity to branch out as I continue to try and provide the best coverage and commentary of the sports scene in Western Pennsylvania for the fans, listeners and readers in this region," said Zeise.
