KQMT/Denver Announces New Afternoon Drive Host
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, June 23, 2016 |
KQMT-FM (99.5 The Mountain) Denver welcomes new afternoon show host Dan Hardee to its lineup, weekdays from 3-8pm beginning July 18. Hardee, a Colorado native, began his on-air career in Colorado Springs as an air personality on Hot AC KKPK-FM, then moved north to Denver as Production Director and night personality for Country KWOF-FM. Most recently, he was swing personality for Bonneville Denver's Country KYGO-FM and AC KOSI-FM.
"It's not every day that the opportunity of a lifetime comes along. I'm beyond ecstatic to work with Sam Hill, Mike Peterson and Amy Griesheimer in growing an already monstrous radio station in the most beautiful place to live in the country. A legend like Dan Mitchell leaves very big shoes to fill, so it's probably good I have size 15 feet. It's truly an honor to carry on what he started. Let's rock," stated Hardee.
"I'm beyond thrilled to have Dan join The Mountain family. With his refreshing abundance of energy and clear passion for radio and classic rock music- he's a wonderful fit," added 99.5 The Mountain Program Director Sam Hill.
Hardee replaces 36 year radio veteran, Dan Mitchell, who is retiring from Denver Radio to spend more time with his family.
