KWNR-FM 95.5 The Bull Names Big D to Afternoons

New Country KWNR-FM (95.5 The Bull)/Las Vegas names Big D as its new afternoon host, effective August 22, hosting weekdays from 3-7pm PT. Big D has been at iHeartMedia Las Vegas since April, 2015, where he has served as the Assistant Program Director/Music Director and afternoon host on KPLV-FM (93.1 The Party). Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Big D was the evening personality on KDWB-FM/Minneapolis.

Big D replaces JoJo Turnbeaugh in afternoons. Turnbeaugh was recently named Region Senior VP/Programming for Nevada-Central California Region and will move to on-air on The Bull weekdays from 9-11am PT.

"Big D was a big part of The Bull when he handled nights a couple of years ago. It's great to have him back home where I know he will take afternoons to a whole new level here in Las Vegas," said Region Senior VP/Programming JoJo Turnbeaugh.

"Country radio is something I've grown to love over the last five years. I've been lucky enough to learn the format from amazing programmers like Travis Moon, Bree Wagner, Gregg Swedberg and JoJo Turnbeaugh. Excited to step into my first full time gig in country radio with a stacked air staff on a massive station. I'm blessed for this opportunity and cannot wait to see where it brings me next," added Big D.
