Adams Adds KHMX/Houston Programming Stripes

CHR KKHH-FM (Hot 95-7)/Houston PD Mark Adams adds programming duties at recent acquisition Hot AC KHMX (Mix 96.5). He replaces Keith Scott, who will remain with Michele Fisher in mornings. Adams, a 21-year industry vet, joined Hot 95-7 as its first PD in April, 2008. Before that,m he served as PD of KXJM-FM/Portland, OR. He has also held programming positions in San Francisco, Milwaukee, Fresno and San Diego.
"Mark has done an excellent job programming Hot 95-7, and I'm excited to see the growth of our Mix brand under his smart leadership," commented Senior VP/Market Manager Brian Purdy.
"Mix is a legendary station -- consistently among the top-ranked stations in the market -- and I'm honored to have the chance to lead this great team," added Adams. "I know we're going to have a lot of fun."
