Spacial Audio to Power Regent Stations and Hubs

Spacial Audio signs with Regent Communications to supply stream hosting and ad insertion service to 59 of its radio outlets. In addition to being the backbone for the Regent station streams, the stream hosting and ad insertion package will be used to create 6 new online channels; each will be powered by SAM Broadcaster, a Spacial Audio radio automation system.

Regent stations and channels will use StreamAds, Spacial Audio's advertising, scheduling, delivery, tracking and reporting platform. StreamAds' targeting ability allows delivery of commercials to specific listeners or geographic audiences, depending on the advertiser's desire.

Spacial Audio CEO Bryan Payne commented, "The addition of Regent Communications bolsters Spacial Audio's station listing to include one of the most highly regarded broadcast groups in the country. Regent joins hundreds of stations in the United States and thousands of radio stations worldwide - both online and terrestrial - that use Spacial Audio software and ad insertion technology."

Regent VP/Technology & Digital Media Larry Downes added, "Spacial Audio's experience combined with their excellent tools and support are a key factor in our effort to deliver an even higher quality streaming experience to listeners and impactful, measurable in-stream advertising to our clients."
