Mike Preston Appointed KKWF (The Wolf)/Seattle PD

Entercom/Seattle appoints 25-year programming vet Mike Preston as Program Director of Country KKWF-FM (100.7 The Wolf), effective November 9. He comes from CBS Radio with over eleven years as a senior programmer in Seattle and San Francisco. His past programming stints include VP/Programming of KCBS-AM, KMVQ-FM, and KLLC-FM/San Francisco and CBS VP/CHR Programming and PD of KBKS-FM/Seattle.

"We knew Seattle's top Country station needed one of America's best contemporary radio programming minds," commented Entercom/Seattle Operations Manager Dave Richards.

Market Manager Jack Hutchison added, "After a comprehensive country-wide search, Mike stood out as the premier candidate to take KKWF to the next level. We could not be more thrilled to have such a talented, experienced leader join our Wolf team."

"I'm thrilled to be headed back into the Seattle battle and joining the Wolf. I can't thank Market Manager Jack Hutchison, Operations Manager Dave Richards, Director of Country Mike Moore and Senior VP programming Pat Paxton enough for bringing me into the pack," commented Preston. (11-03-09)
