Lance Richard Named Entercom VP/Digital Sales


Entercom names radio and digital veteran Lance Richard as VP/Digital Sales, effective November 12. He will oversee Entercom's local and national digital sales initiatives working with the company's sales and marketing staffs. Richard will be based in Chicago and will report to Regional President Deborah Kane.

Kane stated, "We are delighted to have Lance join our corporate sales team. Lance brings to Entercom an intimate knowledge of radio sales and great insights into maximizing our digital opportunities in this rapidly changing media and marketing world."

Richard added, "Entercom has positioned itself as a communications company capable of connecting advertisers with consumers through traditional radio, streaming radio, and online marketing. I'm thrilled to be in a position to help the company and its advertisers to profit from this evolution in the advertising industry."

Richard has worked in radio from 1987-2001 in a variety of station sales management roles and most recently served as Regional Sales Manager for Monster.com since 2007. Previously, he was Director of Sales for Emmis' Chicago radio outlets.
