AC Stations See Tremendous Growth in Holiday PPM

Stations that flipped to all Holiday music through Christmas sailed to the top of Arbitron's Holiday (December 10-January 6) PPM results, in many cases doubling November numbers. In Philadelphia, AC WBEB-FM jumped from a 7.6 AQH share in November to a 16.7 during the Holiday PPM, while AC WLTW-FM (Lite FM)/New York moved from a November share of 7.4 to an 11.6 in the Holiday PPM.
In Los Angeles, AC KOST-FM more than doubled its November share (3.7-8.1). Clear Channel's WLIT-FM (Lite FM)/ Chicago tripled its November share as well moving 3.2-10.2. In San Francisco, KOIT-FM moved past market leader News/Talk KGO-AM (4.3-8.1).
