Seacrest Program Adds ''American Top 5 Countdown''


Ryan Seacrest will add a daily countdown of the "American Top 5" songs to the third hour of syndicated "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" beginning March 29. Listeners will be encouraged to call or visit RyanSeacrest.com and vote for their top 5 songs. The results, in combination with the Mediabase charts, will determine the "American Top 5." CHR and Hot AC versions of the countdown will be made available.

Seacrest is also the host of "American Top 40" radio show and "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest." After launching nearly two years ago on 50 stations, Seacrest is currently heard on more than 170 stations between 10am and 7pm.
