Beasley/Miami Ups Josh Darrow to PD/New Media

Sports WQAM-AM elevates two veteran station personnel to new positions within Beasley Broadcast's Miami cluster. Josh Darrow (pictured) moves to the newly-created position of Program Director of Digital/New Media, while formerly Promotions Director and Assistant PD Lee Feldman is now Operations Director of WQAM. Both moves are effective immediately.

Darrow joined Beasley and WQAM in 1995 and has previously served as the station's Program Director, Assistant PD and producer of the "Hank Goldberg Show." In his new position, Darrow will be responsible for wqam.com, and will further identify opportunities for WQAM and the entire cluster in the digital arena.

"Josh is extremely creative," said Market Manager, Joe Bell, "and I look forward to having him work closely with members of Beasley's Interactive team to develop great programming and generate new revenue scenarios."

Feldman will be responsible for the overall programming and promotional efforts for WQAM. He joined WQAM in 2007 as the station's Promotions Director, and in 2008 he added Assistant PD duties. Lee also served for three years as a Program Director and an air personality in Beasley's Southwest Florida cluster.

Bell added, "Lee has done a tremendous job as Promotions Director/Assistant Program Director and will slide into the new position effortlessly. He is a career "radio guy" and has programming experience in a variety of formats, including our Beasley sister-station WJBX-FM (99X) in Fort Myers."
