RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, March 22, 2011 |
The Radio Mercury Awards names Leo Burnett USA CCO Susan Credle as this year's chief judge for the 20th Anniversary Radio Mercury Awards competition. She is the first woman to serve as a chief judge for this competition. Credle joined Leo Burnett USA as the agency's Chief Creative Officer in September, 2009, from BBDO New York.
"I'm really excited to chair this important show and focus with the jury on 'theatre of the imagination,'" said Credle. "Being immersed in great writing and execution pushes us all forward and reminds of the singular power of radio."
"Susan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to this year's competition; she has a longstanding history of creating exceptional work" noted RAB President/CEO Jeff Haley. "We have built serious inroads within the creative community over the last twenty years. Having someone of Susan's stature ensures that the Radio Mercury Awards continues to raise the bar of creative excellence that we strive to set."
