WNVZ's Shaggy Honored With Joint Resolution

Entercom Norfolk radio station, Z104 (WNVZ), morning show co-host, "Shaggy" (aka. Brandon Stokes) , and Promotions Director, Jade Kozup, will be presented with a Joint Resolution by members of the Virginia House of Delegates on Thursday, September 1, 2011.

The congratulatory resolution, "No. 937," will recognize the staff members' incredible work during the Z104 "Stuff the Bus" campaign in 2010 when they spent 113 hours living on and filling 12 Hampton Roads Regional Transit buses with over 84,000 new toys that were, in turn, donated to "Toys for Tots." Three Virginia Beach Delegates will make the presentation at the station: Delegate Ron Villanueva: 21st district, Delegate Chris Stolle: 83rd district and Delegate Sal Laquinto: 84th District.

Commenting on the joint resolution, Entercom Norfolk's Vice President and Market Manager, Bennett Zier, stated, "I am tremendously proud of Shaggy, Jade and the entire Z104 staff. Their efforts and what they achieved for less fortunate children in Hampton Roads were nothing short of inspirational. I'm delighted that the Virginia General Assembly is recognizing their accomplishments and I am proud that Entercom continues to make a difference in our community."
