Edwards Exits KZPT (The Point)/Kansas City as PD


Hot AC KZPT-FM (99.7 The Point)/Kansas City PD Mark Edwards exits in a cost cutting move. APD/midday host Tony Lorino adds interim programming duties. Edwards joined the Entercom outlet and co-owned AC KUDL-FM as PD in October, 2010. Previously, Edwards spent six years in the PD slot at AC KEZK-FM (Soft Rock 102.5) and Hot AC KYKY-FM (Y98)/St. Louis.

Before joining KEZK in 2004 as PD, Edwards programmed KOSI-FM/Denver. Prior to KOSI, he served as Operations Manager/PD of WVRV-FM (The River) and Smooth Jazz WSSM-FM in St. Louis.
