WLIT-FM (93.9 Lite FM)/Chicago will flip to "Chicago's Christmas Music Station," at 5pm Wednesday airing all Christmas music. In addition to switching to all Christmas music, Edison the Lite-Nose Reindeer, 93.9 Lite FM's official holiday mascot, will be greeting the public and television studios in downtown Chicago, spreading Christmas cheer.
"Year after year, WLIT-FM (93.9) is Chicagoland's home for the holidays and this year we allowed our listeners to vote on when they wanted us to launch into all Christmas music," said Operations Manager Tony Coles. "We received an overwhelming response with over 100,000 votes in favor of starting this holiday tradition today."
Listeners can also get into the Christmas spirit by clicking www.litefm.com to listen to all Christmas music online and to enter Holiday contests.
