ESPN Goes FM in New York April 30 on Emmis WRKS

As many speculated was on the horizon, ESPN Radio finally hits the FM dial in New York City as ESPN New York 98.7 FM debuts Monday, April 30th from Emmis Communications. The sports format will replace Emmis-owned Urban AC WRKS under a lease agreement. The New York on-air line up fetures Maxed Out in the Morning (4-6am), Mike and Mike in the Morning (6-10am), and Colin Cowherd (10am-noon).
The lineup also features Mike Lupicam (Noon-1pm), Stephen and Smith with Ryan Ruocco (1-3pm), "The Michael Kay Show" (3-6pm), Dave Rothenberg (6-9pm) and Bill Daughtry (9p-midnight).
Looking ahead, New York will also debut ESPN Deportes this September in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month. The Spanish-speaking ESPN will air on 1050AM and kick off with a live "Jorge Ramos y Su Banda" broadcast from NYC!Advertisement |
