Happy 80th Birthday Casey Kasem!


The iconic Casey Kasem turns 80 years old today and Radio Online sends best wishes to the voice of American Top 40 and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo! (Wait, did we just make a long distance dedication?) While Casey is of course no longer behind the mic, Premiere Radio Networks continue to syndicate the old AT40 shows from the 70s and 80s which are heard on over 200 stations. Since ending his run on radio, Casey has given no interviews although briefly appeared on his daughter's podcast in late 2009.

Thanks for a world of memories and stories Casey! Our feet are still on the ground and we're still reaching for the stars! Happy Birthday!
