Virtual News Center continues to expand with the appointments of Veronica Carter and Katherine Kelly, two former Merlin Media/Chicago pros. Carter has spent her 25-year radio career in Illinois, Indiana, and California, heavily involved in news reporting and anchoring. Kelly's radio broadcasts range from from Peoria, IL and Quad Cities, IA, to Seattle and Chicago. Kelly has also anchored news as a part of some top morning shows and Oprah Radio Network on SiriusXM.
"Working for Merlin Media was short lived, but an adventure to say the least! Glad to be with Virtual News Center, it's actually fun doing newscasts all over the country," said Carter.
"I am incredibly honored to be joining the team at Virtual News Center. Now I can cover just as many cities without leaving home," added Kelly.
The former Merlin Media employees join a team of 25 pros that provide daily newscasts on more than 150 affiliate stations.
