Jelli Adds Major Markets to Radio Ad Platform
RADIO ONLINE | Wednesday, January 15, 2014 |
Jelli, the cloud-based ad platform for radio, inks agreements to deploy RadioSpot with Emmis-owned WQHT-FM (HOT 97)/New York, Crawford's WPWX-FM and WSRB-FM/Chicago, Service Broadcasting's KKDA-FM/Dallas and WDJQ-FM in Cleveland. The deployments signal the expansion of Jelli's RadioSpot platform, which combines the technology of online advertising with the significant reach of terrestrial radio advertising, to New York, Chicago, Dallas and Cleveland.
"RadioSpot gives our Network advertisers the ability to combine the significant reach of the HOT 97 brand with Jelli's unique real-time serving, reporting and analytic capabilities," said HOT 97 General Sales Manager Giancarlo Negovetti. "Jelli's distinct capabilities makes it easier and faster for us to run Network ads."
"Until now radio stations, networks and advertisers have had to use a decades-old process to buy and run radio ads. RadioSpot automates the process and provides real-time reporting to advertisers," said Jelli CEO Mike Dougherty. "We are so excited to work with our partners and bring Jelli's platform to New York, Chicago and Dallas. Now advertisers can leverage RadioSpot to reach audiences in even more top markets in the United States."
Crawford General Sales Manager Ruben Cornejo added, "RadioSpot's ability to provide accountability, measurability and transparency to clients enables us to compete against digital platforms for national advertising dollars."
