Talk Radio Network Ent. Launches ''Sam Sorbo Show''

Conservative True Feminist CEO and internationally known talk personality, author/actress Sam Sorbo has been tapped by America's Talk Network to host a new daily talk show that will be syndicated and represented by Talk Radio Network Enterprises. "The Sam Sorbo Show" will launch March 26, and will air weekdays from 9am-12pm (ET).

CEO Mark Masters said, "Sam Sorbo is a true powerhouse. Radio stations coast to coast have called on us to syndicate Sam. Those stations told us they wanted a host that can break through the chatter, who can echo the sentiment of mainstream America. Sam is that powerful voice of reason, combined with irreverent humor, someone who understands politics and pop culture in an intimate way."

Sorbo added, "I view it as a privilege to be behind the microphone. Life is often either comedy or drama, but I do believe humor often backlights absurdity in ways that drama and heaviness cannot. Ronald Reagan understood the power of humor, satire and good natured ridicule in ways that created a massive "Big Tent of Voters." My goal is to follow that model in creating a "Big Tent of Listeners" for ratings success for our stations."

Sorbo, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, studied biomedical engineering at Duke University before pursuing a modeling career. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and landed several roles in film and TV productions, including "The Bonfire of the Vanities," "Andromeda" and "Fortunes of War," as well as recurring roles on "Chicago Hope" and "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys," where she met her husband actor Kevin Sorbo.

Sorbo is the CEO and founder of TrueFeminist.com, an organization centered around affirming feminine convictions. She also writes her blog at SamSorbo.WordPress.com, is a champion of home school education, and does public speaking across the country.
