Bridges PD/Afternoons at NASH FM 93.1/Detroit

Cumulus Media announces that Robby Bridges has been named Program Director/Afternoons at NASH FM 93.1 in Detroit, moving from his role as Program Director of Cumulus' WEBE in Bridgeport. Robby's new assignment will be effective April 15. He will report to Cumulus Detroit Vice President and Market Manager, Scott Meier.

Bridges joined Cumulus Media in 2008 as Assistant Program Director/PM drive of WEBE-FM in Bridgeport. He later served as Program Director of Cumulus' WFAS-FM in Westchester, NY, when he was also heard on Hot AC station WPLJ in New York and on the nationally syndicated True Oldies Channel before returning last year as Program Director/Mornings at WEBE.

John Dickey, Cumulus Executive Vice President & Co-Chief Operating Officer, said: "This is an exciting and important time in the development and growth of our NASH brand, and Robby Bridges has risen through the ranks at Cumulus through dedication, talent and drive."

Mike McVay, Cumulus Senior Vice President of Programming, said: "It is a pleasure to announce a well deserved promotion within Cumulus, with Robby Bridges taking the programming reins at our newly launched NASH FM 93.1 in Detroit. Robby has the experience, tenacity and love for the format that will greatly accelerate our Country position in Detroit."

Bridges said: "I'd like to thank our EVP/Co-COO John Dickey, SVP/Programming Mike McVay, SVP/Programming Jan Jeffries and our Detroit Market Manager Scott Meier for this incredible opportunity to program the Motor City's New Country Music Leader NASH FM 93.1. My six years with Cumulus, working with heritage powerhouse brands WEBE, WPLJ, WFAS and with Cumulus Media Networks have been both thrilling and rewarding. I cannot wait to join our team and do big things together in Detroit!"
