RADIO ONLINE | Monday, April 14, 2014 |
ESPN Audio debuts a new podcast series, "ESPN Perspectives," dedicated to storytelling and conversations. The program will offer three original shows that provide listeners an inside perspective on a wide variety of issues in the sports world. These include "Capital Games" hosted by ESPN.com senior writer Andy Katz and ABC News political director Rick Klein, "Inside Out" with ESPN commentator Prim Siripipat and "SportsBiz" with ESPN Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell. In its premiere, all three podcasts are dedicated to the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings.
"ESPN Perspectives will provide exclusive and thought-provoking content at the intersection where sports influences one's perspective on topical psychological, business and social stories of consequence," said VP/Production, Digital Audio Charita Johnson. "Storytelling has always been a trademark of ESPN, and the ESPN Perspectives hosts bring years of experience, knowledge, diverse backgrounds and unmatched passion that will translate into excellent storytelling."
ESPN Perspectives will be available in ESPN's PodCenter at espn.go.com/espnradio/podcast/index and available for download through iTunes.
