Alpha Media/Dayton Names John King as SVP/MM

Alpha Media appoints John King as Senior VP/Market Manager of its cluster in Dayton, OH. King comes to the company from Regent Broadcasting, where he was Senior VP/Operations. Prior to that, King served as Regional President of Citadel Broadcasting. He's also been President of the Sea Star division of AMFM Operating Inc. (previously Capstar) starting in July, 1998.

King has been recognized as R&R's General Manager of the Year and CMA General Manager of the Year four times. He was on the CMA Board of Directors, Tennessee Radio Association Board of Directors and served two terms as the President of the Nashville Area Radio Association.

Alpha Media Chairman Larry Wilson commented, "We've known John King for many years as a great partner in the old Citadel. We couldn't be happier having him join us working with great people doing great radio in Dayton."
