KFTK/St. Louis Announces Allman Report

FM News Talk 97.1 KFTK has announced Jamie Allman will be the host of a new nightly newscast, The Allman Report on KDNL ABC 30 St. Louis to debut in January 2015. Allman will add the new show to his current role as the host of the top-rated "Allman in the Morning" radio show airing weekdays 5-9am on FM NewsTalk 97.1. Allman will anchor this non-traditional newscast on KDNL ABC 30 weeknights at 5 and 10pm.

"We are excited about the launch of the Allman Report! Jamie has dominated St. Louis morning radio for years now and to extend that to TV every weeknight makes perfect sense. The Allman Report is going to be very different than what is currently available locally at 5 and 10 pm and Jamie will no doubt have the same impact on local TV that he has had on local radio.," commented Jeff Allen, FM NewsTalk 97.1 Program Director.
