Media research and consulting firm Jacobs Media and mobile apps development company jacapps hires digital strategist and radio veteran, Seth Resler, with the official title of Digital Dot Connector. He will be providing guidance in all areas of digital media, ranging from streaming, database marketing, social media, podcasting, blogs, content creation and more.
"We took the time to listen to our clients, and their feedback led us to bringing Seth aboard, a pro with a 360° understanding of the digital space with a core foundation in radio," commented Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs. "Broadcasters are involved in many digital pursuits, but need direction about its purpose and its payoff. Seth is the guy with the insights to help our clients make it all work together."
Jacobs Media/jacapps General Manager Paul Jacobs added, "Seth has strong knowledge in all things digital - starting with content marketing as the hub. He will be a great asset to Jacobs Media clients, but will also bring a strategic mobile direction to our jacapps customers, too."
Over his nearly two decades as a Program Director and air talent, Resler has been a staffer at WXRK-FM/New York, WBCN-FM/Boston, KNDD-FM/Seattle and WBRU-FM/Providence. In 2006, he moved to Silicon Valley and consulted media companies on their digital strategies, including TuneIn.
"I'm excited to join one of the industry's most forward-thinking teams," remarks Resler. "There are a lot of great reasons to be excited about the future of audio content, and I'm committed to helping radio stations on that path. Jacobs Media has a roster of outstanding clients and I'm looking forward to identifying opportunities to elevate their overall digital performance."
