Aiir Launches SMS for Existing Studio Phone Number
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, July 21, 2015 |
Aiir, a radio industry tech company, has announced the launch of a new SMS service to complement their Studio Inbox product. Aiir can now enable an existing studio phone number with SMS, which will allow radio listeners to call and text the same number. Stations can instantly reply to the messages received in Studio Inbox, which brings text messages, tweets and Facebook messages to one place.
Aiir Co-Founder Ricki Lee said, "We're simplifying the way listeners text your radio studio. You already have a request line/studio phone number you mention on air everyday. Now it's time to let your listeners text the same number. No keywords, no confusion, it's so simple."
The service is currently being used by Canadian radio stations CJOC-FM (98.1 The Bridge) and (93.1 The One) and is available to all stations in the U.S. and Canada.
