Cumulus Media announces that 21-year radio programming professional Dave Russell has been named Program Director and Afternoon Personality of WARM 103.3 FM in York-Lancaster, PA. Russell begins his new duties on September 8. This marks a homecoming for Russell, who programmed the station from 2007 through 2009. Russell returns to WARM from his most recent role as Program Director and Promotions Director for WOGG and WPKL in suburban Pittsburgh. Previously, Russell programmed and was on-air talent for WSBA and programmed both WCTO and WLEV in Allentown, PA.

Emily Boldon, Vice President, Stratus Music Programming and Corporate Program Director for Cumulus said, "We are so excited to welcome Dave back to Cumulus-York. He had many successful years at the helm programming this heritage station, and we look forward to many more as Dave re-joins our team. He is a consummate professional and top-notch programmer. This is a strong hire for the station and for the company."

"It is great to have Dave Russell back on the team at Cumulus and WARM-FM. WARM 103.3 is in terrific hands and Dave will do an awesome job of driving our Adult Contemporary market-leading brand in York-Lancaster," said Ron Giovanniello, Regional Vice President for Cumulus.

"I am very excited to be returning to WARM, a station that has been very near and dear to me for many years," added Russell. "The station is moving in a very positive direction with the creation of the Liz & Chris morning show. I am looking forward to working with them, along with Cumulus SVP, Content and Programming Mike McVay, A/C format captain Emily Boldon, Regional Vice President Ron Giovanniello and VP/Market Manager Carol Pierson. Together, we can drive WARM to heights in both ratings and revenue. September 8th can't get here quickly enough."
