WCSX-FM Honors Glenn Frey in the Motor City

The City of Royal Oak, Michigan and the Royal Oak School Board have unanimously voted yes on renaming a section of Willis Ave in Royal Oak to Glenn Frey Drive to honor a Classic Rock legend in the city he grew up in. Greater Media's WCSX-FM met with the City of Royal Oak and the Royal Oak School Board, and found a stretch of Willis Ave that could be renamed.
On Thursday February 18 at 5:30pm, WCSX, city officials and school board officials from Royal Oak will unveil Glenn Frey Drive in front of Dondero High School, Frey's alma mater. To keep the celebration going, WCSX's Doug Podell will broadcast his show live from 3-7pm.
