2016 CMB Station of the Year Awards Announced


Christian Music Broadcasters has revealed the winners of its 2016 CMB Station of the Year Awards. Winners were announced at Momentum 2016 during the CMB Awards Dinner on Wednesday. All of the entries from the finalists will be assessed by a new set of judges -- all of whom are broadcasting veterans -- the majority being outside of the Christian radio industry.

2016 CMB Station of the Year Winners:

  • Small Market: 90.9 KLRC-FM/Fayetteville, AR
  • Medium Market: Life 102.5 (WNWC)/Madison, WI
  • Large Market: SOS Radio Network/Las Vegas, NV
  • Major Market: Spirit 105.3 (KCMS)/Seattle, WA
Chris Hauser of Hauser Promotions won the Scott Campbell Industry Achievement Award for outstanding and long-term contributions to the growth of Christian music radio. KVNE-FM/Tyler, TX, received the Rob Gregory Community Service Award for outstanding effort in community service in the past year. And the Rich Mullins Artist Impact Award for their long-time contributions to the music and ministry of Christian music radio was awarded to Big Daddy Weave.
