TuneIn Expands NFL Content with Team Stations
RADIO ONLINE | Monday, December 5, 2016 |
TuneIn is building on its NFL content offering through the development of 20 NFL Team Stations, offering listeners 24/7 access to live and on-demand content directly from their favorite team. This build out of the team stations is the next phase in TuneIn's partnership with the NFL, announced in October, 2015. The extension allows for the development of unique team-produced audio content, available for free.
"In just over a year, our partnership with the NFL has exceeded our expectations with the value that live games and on-demand content have added to the TuneIn user experience," said TuneIn Chief Content Officer Kevin Straley. "We're excited for the opportunity to deepen our relationship with the NFL down to the club level by launching team stations that bring fans even closer to their favorite team, no matter where they are."
Addditionally, a TuneIn Premium subscription offer access to play-by-play feeds for all 32 NFL teams, including both the home and away feeds, national radio broadcasts, and Spanish language broadcasts (where available). Premium listeners also have access to "NFL 1st & Goal," a NFL Red Zone-inspired whiparound show airing every Sunday with live drop-in coverage to team play-by-play broadcasts of in-progress games.
