92Q/Nashville Announces Retirement of Connie Denell

After 3 decades of service to the Nashville community, Cumulus Nashville's WQQK-FM (92Q) announces the retirement of its Gospel Diva, Connie Denell at the end of 2017. Denell has been with 92Q since 1983 and has been hosting her Gospel Diva program since 1987. She's won numerous awards for her efforts including a Stella Award and NAACP Award as well as continuous recognition for her tireless work in the community.
"When I first started this show, I brought flowers to every church in this city. We've been here for over 3 decades helping those in need in Nashville each week. I take your friendship and that of Cumulus Nashville as a blessing each week," said Denell. "I look forward to seeing you throughout the year at 92Q Events."
