America's Morning Show Hosts in Serious Accident
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, March 2, 2017 |
Sorry to report that Cumulus-syndicated NASH morning show, "Ty, Kelly and Chuck," along with producer Glen Johnson, were involved in a car accident on Monday night, while traveling from an affiliate visit at WKOR-FM/Columbus, MS, to New Orleans, where they were to be Grand Marshalls in the Mardi Gras parade. While driving through a torrential rainstorm, the car they were riding in struck a puddle and hydroplaned, causing it to roll twice and end up in a ditch.
All four were all hospitalized in Hattiesburg, but they've been released, with the exception of Johnson, who was held over for some additional observation. Cumulus says, "They're sore for the ordeal, but by all reports so far, they are fortunately going to be OK" and asks that we "keep them all in your thoughts and prayers."
