iHM Names Mark Fuhrman WV Region Area President

iHeartMedia West Virginia appoints Mark Fuhrman as Area President in the Pittsburgh/West Virginia Region, effective immediately, which encompasses 22 stations in Huntington, Parkersburg and Wheeling, WV. Fuhrman joins iHeartMedia from IMG College, where he served as General Manager and managed Thundering Herd Sports Marketing for Marshall University in West Virginia. Previously, he was VP/Sales and Marketing for the Major League Lacrosse expansion franchise Atlanta Blaze and he spent 10 years as VP/GM of Comcast Sports Southeast regional sports television network in Atlanta.

"Mark knows the market area and has an incredible history of growing positive and productive cultures, while achieving bottom line goals," said iHeartMedia Pittsburgh Region President Tim McAleer. "His exceptional background makes him the perfect person to lead our West Virginia Markets and I'm confident our stations will continue their success under his leadership."

Fuhrman also spent several years in the National Football League, initially joining the organization in 1994 as Director of Club Marketing for the League office and later serving as Director of Marketing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Director of Sales & Marketing for the Atlanta Falcons. He has also held various positions with Procter & Gamble, Gallo Winery and Miller Brewing Company's Sports Group.
