RADIO ONLINE | Monday, April 17, 2017 |
WABC-AM/New York announces the addition of "House Smarts with Lou Manfredini" to the Saturday morning lineup at 7am. The show is hosted by home improvement expert Lou Manfredini who brings his experience as an NBC "Today Show" home improvement contributor and construction contractor to the show every week. He's been a home improvement contributor to NBC's Today Show since 2000 and has been giving advice on the radio since 1995. The "House Smarts" television show can also be seen on WNBC in New York.
WABC Program Director Craig Schwalb said, "Lou is basically an encyclopedia of home improvement. His credibility in this space is truly second to none."
Cumulus Media New York VP/Market Manager Chad Lopez said, "House Smarts with Lou Manfredini to 77 WABC is a great enhancement to our lineup. Lou's expertise in this vast industry of home improvement is providing content that our listeners and advertisers are seeking. We're excited to bring a lifestyle topic to 77 WABC and to see this show take off."
Manfredini added, "I spent my career building and renovating homes and learned a lot and made a ton of mistakes. Our show is about helping homeowners to not make the same ones and getting value and enjoyment out of updating and maintaining their home. I'm like your big brother in the business, giving straight answers and having some fun along the way, too. I am very excited to be part of the WABC family, where New York comes to talk."
